About hearing care
Two of Bedworth’s oldest practices, brought together.
Smith & Varley was founded in Leicester Street by Mr Trevor Smith more than seventy years ago, later passing to Mr Richard Varley, then to Geoff and Paula Teers. Hookes Opticians was started some sixty years ago by Mr Irwin Hooke.
In 2008, Clive Beech, BSc (Hons) MCOptom brought both practices together at our home on All Saints Square — continuing a long tradition of independent, professional care for the people of Bedworth and beyond.
- Independent and family-minded — never rushed, never on commission
- Experienced clinicians who get to know you and your eyes
- Trusted across Bedworth, Coventry, Nuneaton and Hinckley
Modern, comfortable and welcoming.
Your examination takes place in a fully equipped, comfortable consulting room. Our premises are air-conditioned with a spacious, relaxed waiting area and full disabled access throughout.
“We are completely independent, so the only advice we’ll ever give you is the advice that’s right for your eyes. That’s how it’s been here for over seventy years.”
